Portugal will host the 5th World Wine Tourism Conference to be held in Reguengos de Monsaraz on 9 and 10 September.
Organized by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and hosted by Turismo de Portugal.
The largest international conference dedicated to this topic which, under the theme 'Wine Tourism - an engine of rural development', will bring together experts from different countries to exchange experiences, identify best practices and promote wine tourism as a tool for sustainable development.
Integrated in the Ministry of Economy and Digital Transition, Turismo de Portugal is the National Tourism Authority. It is responsible for the promotion, enhancement and sustainability of tourism activity and brings together in a single entity all the institutional skills related to boosting tourism, from supply to demand.
